Raise money at school
We have got some great ideas on how you can raise money at your school. You will have loads of fun and it is a great opportunity to get creative!
Remember, whatever you choose to do, gain permission from your teachers before you start.
Some ideas...
- Non-uniform day - always really popular and gets you out of that dreaded uniform.
- Cake Sale - Get your class or year group to bring in some-home made cakes to sell at lunch time.
- Art competition - Invite people to create their ultimate masterpeice and exhibit it in a school art exhibition. Friends and parents could come along and pay to view.
- Tug of war - why not try some friendly competition between the pupils and the teachers.
- Talent/Fashion Show - The perfect way to entertain your class mates and allow others to show off their talent. You could even recreate the X Factor. Get some teachers on the panel and have your very own Simon Cowell.
- Battle of the Bands - This is a brilliant opportunity to expose your schools' musical talent. Different bands could perform at lunchtime to compete against each other for a place in the next round. Each person would pay an entry fee to watch and vote on their favourite band.
- Sports Tournaments - Organise a sports competition and charge people to come and watch. Make things really exciting and have a pupil vs teacher tournament!
