Organise your own Bikeathon

If you can't find an event near you, why not try organising your own event at school? There are lots of great reasons why you should!

What are the benefits?

Money split 50/50 - The money raised at your Bikeathon can be split equally between Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research and your school.

It's easy - We have already produced all the materials you will need, so everything is ready and waiting to be sent to you!

Fantastic Bikeathon Kidz merchandise - We can provide your school with:

• Balloons.
• Bunting.
• Handwaving flags.
• Banners.
• Fundraising packs for kids.
• Badges/certificates for people who send in their sponsorship.
• T-shirts.
• Medals.

It's flexible – you can tailor your event to suit your school. Run it for all the kids or just one class for a couple of hours or dedicate an afternoon. The children don't even have to have bikes. You could allow roller blades or skate boards.

Learning about blood cancers - Bikeathon Kidz is a great opportunity for pupils to learn about the lives of children who are affected by serious illnesses including leukaemia.

Work experience for teenagers - Why not get an older pupil to help you run the Bikeathon; this would provide great experience and really help engage the other children in the event

Most importantly - it is a great way to raise money for children and adults with blood cancers.
